Ability to view user flows and clicks for interactive elements#388

?

When we’re testing prototypes that have been created using Figma Make, Replit etc, if an interactive element (e.g. side panel, bottom sheet, pop-up…) appears without changing the URL of the page, we find that:
a) The user flows are incorrect, normally failing to detect those elements and going directly from start to completion in 1 step (or less steps than it actually takes if it took the interactive elements into account) and
b) Similarly, those elements are not appearing in heat maps and click tracking maps for us to select an area and report on number of users and clicks.

We are able to put together the journey by watching the session recordings (which means having this functionality be deprecated makes us really nervous) and by going through the interactive clicks, and approximate the number of clicks and users through the interactive clicks functionality – but (and it’s a big but), both take a lot longer than ideal and the latter is not really accurate for us to use as a datapoint.

Ideally, both the user flow and the heat/click tracking would show those elements regardless of URLs changing in a similar way than what happens with flat, linked Figma files.

Some more context to the prototypes: they are live URLs of Figma make or Replit, added to Useberry as websites using the code snippet to load them in as proxy doesn’t work for them.
