Option for manual completion of task on Single Task Block#281

Provide option to allow participant to manually indicate they are done with the task, rather than basing completion solely on arriving at a particular “Completion Page”. Completion Page should be optional. It would be nice if there was an alternative option/setting to present a button that says, “I’ve completed this task” that someone can manually press when they believe they have successfully completed everything.

There are many tasks that I create in my usability test studies where I want a participant to navigate to a particular page and then verbally answer some questions about that page while they are still on it. For example, I might ask them to find their most recent claim and then have them determine how much the insurance company paid or how much they still owe out of pocket. In other words, the task is not over simply because I reached the page. There are still passive subtasks to complete such as interpreting information in a table on the screen, etc.

Hi Dlode, you could do what you describe via the “Open Analvtics” block useberry offers, which is in fact a self reported usabilty testing and it dos not hard stop when participants get to a specific screen.

You could also ask participants to think aloud (but you can not force them to). To do so, just enalbe the “video shoots” feature and let the participants know via the “intra screen” that they should enable their mic for this study. Reminding particants to think aloud can be done via the “instructions” within each block, or by using a “context” block.

For GDPR reasons, I would also suggest adding a “Legal screen” to your study and upload a consent form to it.

Note: The “video shoots” feature is currenlty working only on studies conducted on desktop devices.

Feel free to get in touch if you need any help :)
