Support of alternative task paths#15

There are a tasks which may be done by the different ways. And it would be nice to have multi paths that testers need to take to successfully complete a task.

I had the same idea, but testers should not “need” to walk all of them, as i understand your comment.
But there MUST be a way to set multiple ending screens/buttons.
My problem: i must bookmark something. the button is on 2 different pages and the screen after the push is is different. The task is the same.
So a user can push the button on 2 different spots, but only one will complete the task in the system :(

Yes! You understood me right. I seen a case when a tester should change a type in a drop-down menu. At statistics this test was not passed but on a video I seen that the user droped and hidden the menu two times before pressing on a menu item. Logically, this test is passed, but, as a result… unfortunately, no. And there are a lot of such similar cases that damage a results and make not real statistics.

Multiple/Alternative paths is one of our upcoming features.
Today we’ve pushed a new feature that partially covers this case. You can select the “Finish” screen of the task.
This way testers could follow different paths until they reach the “Finish” screen and complete successfully the task.
